Wesley King is an associate in Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost's Los Angeles office. Mr. King handles matters within our Business, Facilities & Real Estate and Litigation practice groups.
In his business & facilities practice, Mr. King advises his clients on a variety of matters, including facilities construction and renovation, property sales, eminent domain, solar projects, public bids, technology service contracts, and lease agreements. Mr. King also advises his clients on bond matters and other public financing issues. Moreover, Mr. King is a skilled negotiator and represents his clients in various business and real estate transactions.
Mr. King is also an experienced litigator and has defended public agencies and private companies in a diverse range of cases addressing such issues as public financing, inverse condemnation, land use, wrongful death, student privacy and employment discrimination. Mr. King has represented F3's clients in state and federal trial courts as well as alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation and judicial settlement conferences.
Prior to joining F3, Mr. King represented clients in complex products liability, environmental exposure and wrongful death litigation, and successfully obtained a jury verdict in a complex environmental exposure case. Mr. King is especially skilled at anticipating and addressing the challenges presented when the court of law and court of public opinion intersect, prompting political and media issues. He works closely with his clients and the Firm's Communications Services team to create and help implement communication strategies that balance the need to keep the client's organization informed without compromising the litigation process.
In addition to his client work, Mr. King is the Co-President of the LGBT Bar Association of Angeles. He is also an active member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and has served on two committees with the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mr. King is also a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
Mr. King received his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of law, and earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minor in Real Property Development from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
