Lynn M. Beekman is partner in Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost's San Diego office and is a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Drawing from over 20 years of experience, she has represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including business, real estate, land use, and premises liability cases involving private parties and public agencies.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Beekman was affiliated with several boutique law firms where she litigated a variety of cases involving all aspects of real property/land use disputes, including eminent domain, zoning violations, CEQA writs, Conditional Use Permit issues, inverse condemnation, boundary and easement disputes, title conflicts and landslide cases. Her practice also included handling business disputes, premises liability cases, wrongful termination matters, medical malpractice lawsuits, and class actions in the areas of unfair business practices, franchise investments, wage and hour law, breach of contract, and insurance law.
Affiliations include the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (Board of Governors and Community Outreach Co-Chair) and the San Diego County Bar Association. Ms. Beekman has contributed to legal and community service projects and organizations, including The Informed Voter Project, the ABTL San Diego Law School Mock Trial Competition, Dingeman Elementary School Faculty Family Connection (past Board member), King Chavez Preparatory Academy, Central Elementary and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program.
Ms. Beekman earned her Juris Doctor at University of San Diego School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature from San Diego State University.
