M. Lance Kennix is an associate in the firm's Inland Empire office. He assists clients in a variety of matters. He primarily assists school districts with matters relating to Business, Facilities, and Real Estate. Mr. Kennix also assists in litigation and labor and employment matters.
Prior to joining Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost, Mr. Kennix served in the Oakland City Attorney's Office as a Neighborhood Law Corps attorney. Mr. Kennix represented the People of the State of California and the City of Oakland in public nuisance litigation and administrative hearings. During and after law school, he worked in an international law firm's litigation practice group. In addition, Mr. Kennix worked as a writer for Thomson Reuters, authoring articles on legal principles and practices.
Mr. Kennix earned his Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of Law, where he completed the Tax Law Concentration. Mr. Kennix earned awards for intra-scholastic Moot Court competitions and served as a research assistant. He holds a B.A., cum laude, in Philosophy from California State University, Sacramento.
In his free time, Mr. Kennix enjoys spending time with his family, acquiring skills related to his practice, and coaching wrestling.
