Christina Wa is an associate in the firm’s Sacramento office, where she represents clients in a variety of matters. She primarily assists school districts with business, facilities and construction matters including procurement procedures, project delivery methods, and other transactions.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Wa was a contract specialist with a firm that provides consulting, engineering, program and construction management services for the California High-Speed Rail Project. In that capacity, she focused on coordinating, negotiating and executing agreements for environmental planning and preliminary engineering and construction of the Project involving CEQA compliance, professional services, and facility relocations.
Before passing the bar, Ms. Wa served as a law clerk on the Health and Human Services Team of the Office of the City Attorney in San Francisco and as an extern in the Employment and Administrative Mandate Section of the Office of the Attorney General in Sacramento.
Ms. Wa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she was communications editor of Journal of Juvenile Law & Policy. She received her B.A., cum laude, in Communications from the University of Southern California.
