Jessica Ehrlich is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office and is co-chair of the Higher Education Practice Group and an active member of the firm's Business and Facilities and Litigation Practice Groups. With over 10 years of experience representing public school districts and public agencies throughout the state, she supports clients in a variety of areas, including construction, facilities, procurement and purchasing, construction litigation, property acquisition and sale, land use and environmental issues. Ms. Ehrlich has extensive experience assisting K-12 and community college districts in implementing bond programs for the construction and modernization of numerous school facilities.
Ms. Ehrlich also has significant experience representing public agencies in a variety of litigation matters from inception through trial. With a comprehensive background in civil litigation, Ms. Ehrlich has litigated at both the arbitration and trial levels, as well as frequently resolving disputes through mediation and informal dispute resolution. In addition, Ms. Ehrlich assists clients in various transactional matters and governance issues, including drafting a wide range of contracts and agreements, Brown Act and public records requests.
Ms. Ehrlich obtained her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where she was a member of the Moot Court Association. She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Minors in English and History. Ms. Ehrlich is currently admitted to the California State Bar. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of California
