Brianne R. Schuck is an associate in the firm's Los Angeles office where she practices in the Student Services & Special Education Practice Group, as well as the Labor & Employment Practice Group. She advises school districts, county offices of education, and special education local plan areas on a wide range of education-related matters.
Prior to joining F3, Ms. Schuck specialized in public entity defense, both in private practice and as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California. She has litigated education discrimination cases brought under Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act/Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and defended law enforcement agencies against employment and civil rights discrimination cases. She also has significant experience defending school districts in hiring and supervision matters.
Ms. Schuck has litigated at all levels in federal and California courts, and has handled multiple administrative due process hearings. She wrote and presented a MCLE on the education law aspects of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act/Title II of the ADA.
Ms. Schuck earned her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School in 2010, where she was a Center for Children’s Rights Fellow. She was an extern for the Honorable David O. Carter, in the Central District of California while in law school. Ms. Schuck holds a bachelor's degree from University of Redlands.
