Cary Mullen is an associate in the firm's Los Angeles office where he practices in the Labor & Employment Practice Group. He advises districts on wage and hours issues, disability, harassment, leaves, discipline, and dismissals. He also assists clients with responses to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints filed with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and related litigation.
Prior to joining F3, Mr. Mullen represented clients in estate planning, and consumer and business litigation throughout Southern California. He counseled clients on achieving estate planning objectives, business entity formation and maintenance, and proprietary and trade secrets transactional matters. He also advocated for clients on related business litigation, products liability and lemon law disputes.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Mullen had a career in education where he spent over 10 years as a Special Education Teacher and a Due Process/Compliance Specialist for a large district in California.
Mr. Mullen received the Wildman Schumacher scholarship to attend Southwestern Law School's accelerated SCALE 2-year program, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He has a Master of Arts in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Mr. Mullen is licensed to practice law in all of California's state courts, as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California.
