Varand Nikolaian is an associate in the firm's Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group.
Mr. Nikolaian started his F3 career as a summer associate before returning as a post-bar clerk and, later, as an associate. Prior to joining F3, Mr. Nikolaian clerked and served as a litigation assistant for Los Angeles area law firms, focusing on employment, personal injury and business litigation matters. He also volunteered for the Pasadena Superior Courthouse Self-Help Center.
Mr. Nikolaian earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. While there, he served as a clinical student at the Loyola Project for the Innocent, where he assisted with exoneration claims of wrongfully convicted individuals. Prior to attending Loyola Law School, Mr. Nikolaian received his B.A. in philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles, from which he graduated cum laude.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Nikolaian enjoys hiking and playing tennis. He speaks Armenian and Farsi.
