Nia Franklin is an associate in the firm's Sacramento office and is a member of the firm’s Governance & Leadership and Labor & Employment practice groups. Ms. Franklin provides guidance to clients on a variety of matters, including certificated and classified personnel matters, employee and student discipline, personnel investigations, uniform complaints, Title IX related issues, interscholastic athletics, higher education matters, and discrimination and harassment claims.
Prior to joining F3, Ms. Franklin worked with an education law firm where she focused primarily on personnel-related matters including teacher dismissals, classified and certificated employee issues, and personnel investigations.
Ms. Franklin earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Prior to her legal education, Ms. Franklin attended San Jose State University as a scholar athlete for their Division I Women's Volleyball Team. Ms. Franklin graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in business and a minor in political science.
