Margret Flodeen

In her triple-pronged practice, Margret Flodeen advises clients in business and facilities, labor and employment and litigation. She combines extensive trial advocacy experience with transactional acumen to help clients resolve conflicts by troubleshooting and identifying issues that could potentially become problematic down the road.

Margret enjoys the strategizing and teamwork elements of litigation, as well as collaborating with school districts to navigate complex personnel and procurement issues, including employee discipline and contract negotiations. She finds it rewarding to keep clients compliant with the law and assists them in looking ahead at the potential outcomes of any suggested course of action..

Always emphasizing preparation, Margret delves into strategic legal research, thoroughly reviews the discovery record, and conducts in-depth interviews on the front end of issues. She also serves her clients’ best interests well by drafting clear, direct and persuasive documents.

Margret finds F3’s dedication to public education gratifying. Having a sister with severe autism who has faced many education-related challenges and having another sister who has taught in public school for 26 years, has allowed Margret to recognize the impact public schools have on families. Margret’s exposure to many aspects of public education made her eager to join F3 in its mission to assist school districts in helping their students and communities.
