$10 billion school facilities bond could provide critical funding for schools

California Lawmakers have approved putting a $10 billion school facilities bond on the ballot this November.  The funds are desperately needed to provide adequate school facilities to children. However, the bond will appear alongside another $10 billion bond for climate action.  Both of these bonds will be considered after the $6 billion Proposition 1 bond was narrowly passed in March, to provide housing for individuals with mental health, drug, or alcohol challenges.
