Amanda Goldman serves as F3 Law’s Director of Charter School Services, a new role created specifically to bring her unique expertise to charter authorizers across California. Amanda first partnered with the firm as a client while serving as a district-level administrator for a large urban school district. Together, they designed and implemented practical, sustainable systems that transformed district operations. The success of that collaboration—and the measurable, lasting improvements it produced—made it clear that this approach could benefit charter authorizers facing similar challenges, leading Amanda to join the F3 Law team.

Though not an attorney, with more than 25 years of experience in public education, Amanda has served in nearly every role, including teacher, principal and district administrator. That breadth of experience gives her a practical understanding of the challenges education leaders face every day and allows her to offer solutions grounded in real-world experience.

Amanda works with clients to address some of their most pressing concerns, including fulfilling authorizer responsibilities under California’s constantly evolving laws, preventing and responding to charter school fraud, navigating charter renewal and strengthening organizational effectiveness across all areas of the org-chart.

Throughout her career, Amanda has explored the issue of “burnout” among highly capable, deeply committed education professionals—though in her view, “burned through” is a more accurate description. Rather than viewing this as an inevitable consequence of the profession, she sees it as the result of often chronic workload, role ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and unnecessary complexity. Her work focuses on redesigning systems so educators and organizations alike can thrive.
