I can help you solve any issues that come up at your school or involving your students – whether those issues are big or small, straightforward or complex that no one could have predicted. Together, we will get it done in a way that best meets your legal and practical needs.

What's it like to work with me?

I’m friendly, approachable and pleasant to work with, which I hope helps to ease some of the stress that legal issues can create. I’m committed to achieving the best possible solution to the challenges clients face by prioritizing collaboration, creativity, and precision in everything I do.

Overview

Hannah Auten has experience working with public agencies across a wide range of areas they must regularly navigate, including labor and employment, real estate, litigation, contracts, and public records requests.

Prior to joining F3 Law and throughout law school, Hannah represented clients in local government law. Before that, they worked for the Illinois Speaker of the House of Representatives, as a law clerk for Senator Richard J. Durbin (in his role as chair of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary), and as a campaign manager and a consultant on a variety of state and local political campaigns.

While in law school, Hannah authored a note entitled “Reimagining Judicial Review of Student Requests for Remote Instruction as an ADA Accommodation in Higher Education,” which was selected for publication in the Chicago-Kent Law Review.

After School

I enjoy hanging out with my two cats, playing the guitar, reading and playing video games. I also love spending time outside in any capacity, whether that’s going for a walk in the park or backpacking through the wilderness with friends.
