Overview

Jesse O’Sullivan represents educational institutions as they make business and real estate decisions. His practice includes document drafting, contract review, and due diligence to ensure successful real estate transactions such as sales, purchases, and leases. He also assists school districts with a variety of other matters as needed.

Jesse draws upon a diversity of experiences that give him unique insights into public decision making. Before to working at F3, he worked as a lawyer and policy advocate for a nonprofit. This experience gives Jesse a unique understanding of how public officials make decisions, and the kids of advice they need to succeed. It also gives him a deep familiarity with public agencies and the environmental, real estate, and land use decisions that they make.

Prior to working in politics, Jesse worked for a litigation firm, externed for Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel in the Southern District of California, and externed for Judge M. Margaret McKeown in the 9th Circuit. This experience enables him to anticipate how legal challenges may arise from transactions and other public decisions.

After School

I am a dedicated parent to two kids who attend public schools. When I have time, I enjoy surfing at Ocean Beach, writing, and seeing live theatre. I also enjoy reading, particularly the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett.
