Larissa Alvarez is a dedicated education attorney who is a trusted advisor to her clients. A strong believer in the power of public education, Larissa is dedicated to protecting the systems that make it accessible and effective. By earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Larissa gained a deep understanding of people, relationships, and social behavior. She uses this understanding to help clients navigate complex legal challenges that may be emotionally charged.

Larissa brings a trauma-informed approach to sensitive matters, including Title IX investigations and UCP issues. Her ability to navigate these topics with care and professionalism makes her a trusted resource for clients facing conflict and legal uncertainty.

Following law school, Larissa worked in education law, supporting both public and private schools on a wide range of issues. Her work included investigating harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims; managing internal compliance matters to help schools proactively identify and mitigate risks; addressing employee related concerns; and responding to CPRA requests. Larissa also supported clients through emerging challenges posed by artificial intelligence and fast-changing educational technologies.
