What can I solve for you?
Education leaders tend to call on me as a thought partner when confronted with novel or tough questions. Clients appreciate the evidence-based and practical approach I bring to traditional legal analysis, both in day-to-day administrative decisions as well as in my special education litigation practice, which has a particular focus on alternative dispute resolution, IDEA appellate litigation and attorney's fees disputes. Clients also turn to me to help train staff, update procedural and policy handbooks, and advise on any student or special education matter that arises.
What's it like to work with me?
Clients trust and feel at ease with me because I prioritize building relationships and make it a point to understand their organizational needs and goals. They confide in me without fear of being criticized or misunderstood, sharing their ideas and worries openly. I recognize that their ultimate objective in tackling any problem, no matter how complex, sensitive or unconventional, is to increase student achievement and create a more equitable and conducive learning atmosphere for students.
