Overview

Vanessa Johnson brings more than 20 years of financial management experience, including over 15 years in senior financial roles at law firms. As Controller at F3 Law, she oversees the firm’s financial operations, including budgeting, billing, accounting, financial controls and reporting.

Vanessa takes a methodical approach to timekeeping and billing, which keeps cash flow steady and supports the firm’s day-to-day operations.

She has worked across several industries and types of organizations, but she finds professional services, and law firms in particular, to be a uniquely rewarding environment. She values the uniquely human element of professional services, where the firm’s success is rooted in its people, their expertise, judgment and relationships. For Vanessa, that dynamic makes the financial side of the business both interesting and rewarding.

Earlier in her career, Vanessa held financial and accounting roles in the corporate and entertainment sectors, including positions with Sony Pictures Digital and Herbalife International.

After School

My mom, daughter, and I share a love of cooking. On weekends, you’ll regularly find us doing so together, getting all that delicious history down on paper (or, more likely, in the Notes app on my phone) so it can continue to be passed down through our family.
