Overview

Focusing on business and facilities issues, Jasmine Tauer helps school district clients through the property procurement process and guides them in limiting their liability by ensuring that their buildings and properties are legally shielded and that they’re adhering to safety-enhancing procedures and protocols.

Applying her outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills to every matter, Jasmine drafts and reviews service, procurement, and construction contracts and also handles issues that manifest in litigation. She diligently confirms that school organizations are protected when they enter into agreements with vendors and other third-parties, and ensures that students and non-students are safe on school properties. Jasmine also counsels districts on best practices to prevent disputes and litigation stemming from copyright issues.

Jasmine draws on her experience teaching English to produce concise prose tailored to her audience’s level of legal sophistication. Clients appreciate her dedicated, congenial approach, as well as her ability to listen carefully and conduct productive conversations that help solve their problems quickly and efficiently.

After School

I’m passionate about helping my community, and I volunteer for the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, where I interview, perform intake services, and provide legal advice for clients struggling with domestic violence, divorce and child-custody issues. I also love to spend time with my dog, play the piano, and read in a variety of genres, but particularly romantic literature classics written by authors like Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte.
