Rebecca Diddams focuses her practice on the areas of special education, student services, and charter schools, including issues pertaining to Section 504, student rights and discipline, and student policy compliance. She advocates for school districts in complaint hearings before the Office of Administrative Hearing, the Office for Civil Rights, and the California Department of Education.

During and after law school, Rebecca represented low-income families in the Los Angeles area in contract with the local regional center to advocate for appropriate services for students with developmental disabilities, without the need for litigation. After moving to Northern California, Rebecca worked with a public interest firm in San Jose, providing support for foster and juvenile justice youth.

For the past several years, Rebecca has been assisting schools across the state of California in a variety of student issues, including special education and Section 504, student discipline, UCP and Title IX complaints, and serving at-risk populations.
