Overview

Valeria Ortega is an emerging education law attorney dedicated to guiding school districts and educational institutions across California on a wide range of issues, helping them stay focused on serving students and their communities.

Raised in Southern California, Valeria understands firsthand how strong educational institutions and dedicated educators can expand opportunities. Her work is driven by gratitude for those who supported her journey, and a commitment to ensuring all students have access to the same support and resources.

Prior to joining F3, Valeria built a strong background working with public agencies and on community projects. She interned with various public agencies, where she drafted legal documents, performed legal research on municipal and public contract law, and updated municipal codes. Valeria also collaborated on community initiatives, including a food resource project in Logan Heights and a community-action research project with immigration advocates at the United States-Mexico border. These experiences deepened her understanding of the challenges facing marginalized communities.

Valeria takes an organized and collaborative approach to her work. She values practical solutions and clear communication, working closely with clients to support effective decision-making. At the heart of her practice is the goal of helping school districts and educational institutions operate smoothly for the benefit of students and their communities.
