The recent school shooting tragedy in Florida has understandably prompted emotion and motivated engagement among high school students nationwide. One response has been to organize campus walkouts, which has led to numerous questions from school administrators on whether such walkouts are lawful, the potential consequences to students and staff, and the legal risks involved, among other things.
