Bilbeisi counsels K-12 and community college districts on a wide range of labor, employment and public agency governance matters. Well regarded by his peers, Jordan serves as chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. He has a reputation for success in labor relations and negotiations, and is known as an expert in nearly all public education employment issues, such as employee classifications, discipline and investigations, complaints, administrator contracts, leaves and accommodations, among other topics.

Jordan builds close relationships with clients who rely on him as an integral part of their decision-making process. He is adept at identifying issues both short-and-long term, anticipating issues and providing counsel to avoid pitfalls and costly legal disputes. When disputes do arise, he helps guide clients to successful outcomes with strategic yet practical thinking, creativity and a calm, cordial demeanor.

As general counsel, Jordan closely monitors the ever-evolving and complex regulatory framework governing public education. In addition to labor and employment, he counsels districts on public agency governance, constitutional issues, the Brown Act and Public Records Act.
