Because I’ve held many public-education roles over more than three decades, I bring extensive experience and a well-rounded perspective to an array of matters that arise for school districts, including leadership support, governance, curriculum and instruction development, among others.

What's it like to work with me?

I’m known for being both knowledgeable and very diplomatic, and these attributes are part of the reason I’ve had great success working with school boards and education communities. Additionally, many people have told me they appreciate my ability to stay calm and unrattled in the eye of the storm. Even in the wake of very trying situations, I don’t burn bridges and maintain personal connections.

Overview

As an F3 Law Next-Level consultant, Sandra Lyon supports school boards and their executives by identifying and providing the services they need. She draws on the vast knowledge and experience she gained from 34 years in the education arena, which includes positions as teacher, principal and school district superintendent.

Sandy infuses compassion and dedication into her work. Always keeping students’ needs front and center in all decisions, she prioritizes the choices that best serve children and their educations.

In her leadership advisement work, Sandy focuses on the superintendency, and helps these executives navigate complex political situations, board governance, cabinet and team development and communication, organization and systems issues, and school leadership, curriculum and instruction. She’s instrumental in helping new superintendents transition into their governance roles and excels at helping them find and nurture their own strengths and talents.

After School

My husband and I love to spend time with our kids and their families. We also enjoy travel and like to stay active with golf, hiking and walking. Also, I’m a pickleball enthusiast!
